Still jet lagged on Sunday morning from our latest exhibition at IDDBA in Los Angeles. The phone wakens me with the great news from colleague Paul that we are at the dizzy height of Number 7 in the Sunday Times International Track 200.
First thoughts are how proud our fantastic team will be. It has been a long, patient haul but we have success and recognition today for our efforts in export markets.
For me it is just the beginning even though I have just completed my 20th year here. I am hugely proud of the team I have built and led for the past 13 years since our MBO.
This is an adventure in a constantly changing environment to which we have to flexibly re-adjust.
I believe this recognition in the Sunday Times strengthens our position in the UK, our most important market, demonstrating to our customers that we know how to build brands that will grow their categories.
